James Aita, Senior Product Manager
James Aita is Senior Product Manager at Medicomp Systems. Aita joined the company in 2007 and has been instrumental in promoting the Medicomp brand. He holds a Masters in Business Administration in Healthcare from Baldwin-Wallace, and an Honors Bachelors of Business Administration from York University in Toronto, Canada. Prior to his current role, Aita was the head of Research and Development of a publicly traded Electronic Medical Record vendor where he directed product and marketing strategy, evaluated and analyzed changing industry trends and regulations, advised standards and trade organizations, and led product changes to achieve multiple government product standards certifications and awards. Aita has served on the ASTM E31 panel for the Continuity of Care electronic standard, as well as the IHE healthcare interoperability organization, HIMSS interoperability showcase, HIMSS Electronic Medical Record Vendor Association, and most recently the ONC’s S&I Framework Vocabulary Workgroup. |
