CHANTILLY (November 8, 2016) – Medicomp Systems’ customers in Asia gathered in Bangkok, Thailand on October 3-7 for Medicomp’s annual training event, which focused on how to get the most out of the integration of Quippe with their hospital information systems (HIS). Attendees included technical, clinical, and functional representatives from five countries, including a number of healthcare providers and software companies.
Medicomp’s leadership team and top technical and functional experts from both the United States and Thailand provided education and training, demonstrating how Quippe can enhance any HIS, in any care setting. Following the initial demonstrations, attendees went to hands-on technical, basic clinical/functional, or advanced clinical/function training sessions. At the end of the week, attendees had working integrations in their HIS, ideas for new features to add to existing integrated solutions, and new content and ideas to support clinicians at the point of care.
The Quippe Clinical Engine and Clinical Lens viewer are used actively for inpatient and outpatient settings in Asia, including the first two HIMSS EMRAM Stage 6 hospitals in Thailand.
